6 iphone apps that could save your life

Here are 6 iphone apps that could possibly save you life one day...

6. iSurvive

You’re lost in the woods and don’t know what to do. Don’t panic. iSurvive contains all of the information essential to your survival. In easy to understand language and detailed diagrams, this app will tell you how to tie knots, construct a shelter, set a snare and so much more.

5. Email’n Walk

Don't get run over by a bus when composing an email on the go! Instead, have Email 'n Walk provide a view of what's in your path using your iPhone's camera. Plus this app is just cool, but i still would try using it if you are driving.

4. AroundMe

Ensure you don't run out of petrol and starve to death on the M4 by using AroundMe to find your nearest petrol station. (And for Apple fan-boys who can't go two days without treading the hallowed halls of an Apple Store, AroundMe also enables you to find your nearest House of Mike in an instant.)

3. Darkness

Use Darkness to know when the sun's going to vanish and be replaced by inky blackness, thereby avoiding vampires, werewolves, and killing yourself by falling down an extremely steep hill in Devil's Punchbowl. Not that this writer was dumb enough to nearly do the last of those earlier this year...

2. vFlashlight

Two for the price of one: use vFlashlight at night to avoid breaking your neck falling down the stairs if you need the loo/a snack/to pretend you're burgling your own house; and use the strobe mode to distract ravers who are trying to mug you. When they start dancing, run like hell.

1. My Town

Wake up in the middle of the night to a fire or the sound of a burglar? Don’t panic. Simply reach for your iPhone and One-Tap Dial the fire or police department. No need to look up their numbers, because you already input them into My Town! On a trip and worried because you can’t reach an elderly relative or parent, and you can’t remember their neighbor’s name? Don’t worry. You’ve already done the research and put it into My Town! Simply reach for your iPhone and One-Tap Dial their neighbor or caretaker.
